Gaudí Villas: New Construction Townhomes in Fort Lauderdale
October 20, 2026
On NE 26th Avenue, one street back from Intracoastal Drive, four new construction townhomes in Fort Lauderdale are going up behind a single sculpted white facade. The project is called Gaudí Villas. Its first residence, 820 NE 26th Avenue, is now listed at $2,900,000.
820 is the only four bedroom home of the four. In contrast, the other three, at 822, 824 and 826, are five bedroom homes. So here is what the project is, how it is built, and what each home offers.
Where the Curve Comes From
Antoni Gaudí worked out the shape of his arches by hanging chains and letting gravity set the curve, then turning it upside down. A hanging chain is pulled only in tension. Flipped over, however, the same curve stands in compression.
The facade at Gaudí Villas starts from that idea. As a result, a white exoskeleton of arches and rings wraps the front and both corners of the building, with one home to each bay, ground to roof.
The Four Residences at Gaudí Villas
| Residence | Address | Bedrooms | Baths | Air-conditioned area | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| I | 820 NE 26th Ave | 4 | 4 full, 1 half | 2,290 sq ft | $2,900,000 |
| II | 822 NE 26th Ave | 5 | 7 | 2,617 sq ft | On request |
| III | 824 NE 26th Ave | 5 | 7 | 2,617 sq ft | On request |
| IV | 826 NE 26th Ave | 5 | 7 | 2,661 sq ft | On request |
Residences II and III are mirror images of each other, with the living floor on level two. Meanwhile, the north corner home is the largest of the four.
820 NE 26th Avenue: The Only Four Bedroom
Residence I sits at the south corner, and its plan is different from the other three. Here is how it is laid out:
- On the ground floor: the entry, the garage and the living floor, running back to the garden and the pool.
- Upstairs: three bedrooms and three baths.
- On the top floor: the fourth bedroom, an office and a terrace along the full depth of the south side.
With the living floor at garden level and the pool just outside it, this is the residence for a buyer who wants the main rooms on the ground. On top of that, the upper floor works as a private suite with its own outdoor space. For photos and details, see the listing on Compass.
What Every Gaudí Villas Townhome Includes
- A private pool for each residence, in its own east garden.
- A private pneumatic vacuum elevator to every level, by Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators LLC.
- Parking for four cars, because the garage has a two tier lift and the drive takes the rest.
- Three levels, with 10, 11 and 10 feet floor to floor.
New Construction Townhomes in Fort Lauderdale, Built to a Commercial Standard

Among new construction townhomes in Fort Lauderdale, the structure is where Gaudí Villas sets itself apart. For example, the builder specifies 5,000 psi structural concrete throughout. According to the builder, that strength is more common in commercial buildings than in homes.
- Frame: CMU walls with precast concrete floors and roof.
- Glass: impact rated throughout, with Florida Notice of Acceptance (NOA) approval.
- Kitchen: 3 cm granite countertops and custom cabinetry made in Hollywood, Florida.
- Closets: custom, made in Miami.
- Baths: smart toilets throughout, an American Standard Evolution EverClean whirlpool tub, and ceramic tile floors and shower enclosures.
- Systems: Cooper & Hunter HVAC, and a Rheem tankless water heater on each floor.
- Ceilings: the Eco Ceiling stretch system on ceilings and walls.
The Location: Sunrise Intracoastal, Fort Lauderdale
Gaudí Villas sits in the Sunrise Intracoastal area, east of Federal Highway. In other words, it is close to both the water and the beach. For example, measured in a straight line from the door:
- The Intracoastal: 490 feet
- The Galleria: 700 feet
- Bonnet House: 1,040 feet
- Publix: 0.29 miles
- Birch State Park: 0.33 miles
- Coral Ridge Yacht Club: 0.39 miles
- Fort Lauderdale Beach: half a mile
- Las Olas Boulevard: 1.7 miles
