Every Dock and Dine in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale and Broward county features over 126 miles of navigable waterways making it the “Venice of America” and a true boater’s paradise. It’s only natural we have a countless amount of waterfront restaurants, but not every one offers dock and dine options.  The Marder Group’s most avid boater, Bridget O’Donnell, has curated a guide of all the Dock and Dine Restaurants in the Fort Lauderdale area.

Arranged from South at Port Everglades, West along the New River, to the North in Deerfield Beach.

This list includes both established favorites and newer additions to the dining scene:

Highlights: The newly rebuilt Pier Sixty-Six Resort and Residences include 8 Options of dining between brunch to drinks and dinner; casual to fine dining. Our favorite? The timeless Pier Top Lounge.

TIP: Reservations are required for the marina and prices for under 49 ft vessels range for $2/ft in summer and $3/ft in High Season for a few hours for those who Dock and Dine.

15th Street Fisheries

Highlights: A staple of Fort Lauderdale’s waterfront dining scene, 15th Street Fisheries is directly on the Lauderdale Marina. Overlooking the intracoastal, the port, and the sandbars. Great spot to bring the family and feed the tarpon at night!

Tip: Located directly on the Lauderdale Marina making this a great spot to fuel up the boat.

Boatyard

Highlights: Boatyard delivers an upscale waterfront dining experience with a focus on locally sourced seafood and prime meats. Known for their canalfront happy hour and option for dining service to your yacht. Recent updates to the menu make this a must try spot. Slips for dock and dine must be reserved the day before, and guarantees a table up to 6 people.

Southport Raw Bar

Highlights: One of Lauderdale’s most old School, go-to spot for anglers looking to arrive in flip-flops and with no frills. Known for frozen drinks, raw bar classics, and their affordable prices. Located directly next to F3 Marina for those looking for long term dry docking. Southport offers free dockage for those who dock and dine.

YOT: Kitchen & Bar

Highlights: A scenic place to kick back along the New River. Tucked in among some of the most prestigious yachts at the gated Safe Harbor Lauderdale Marina Center. Great food and drinks all throughout the day; however, YOT is known for their unbeatable brunch menu.

Pro tip: Great place to spot marine industry elite leaders, celebrities or yacht owners looking for a low key lunch.

Note: Slips are first come first serve for dock and dine and is run directly through the restaurant not the marine center.

Rendezvous Bar & Grill

Highlights: Anchored at the Marina Bay Yachting Center.  Casual Family-friendly grill nestled inside the marina featuring classic American eats, plus live music & a big patio.

Highlights: Our very own touch of Gasparilla in South Florida. Located on the southwest side of the New River, just outside of downtown. A spot where you can bring the kids for the fun pirate themed night. Slips for Dock and Dine are first come first serve.

Highlights:  On the New River, just steps from Las Olas, Boathouse is the waterfront dining option for the famous Riverside Hotel. offers waterfront dining with a focus on fresh seafood and a vibrant atmosphere. A shaded spot to cool off and meet up with friends in downtown.

Address: 849 Seabreeze Blvd Fort Lauderdale, FL  33316, new site for St. Regis Resort & Residences

Highlights: Located at famous Bahia Mar, where the new St Regis Resort & Residences will be coming soon. This waterfront food hall offers al fresco dining with views of pristine beachfront and the intracoastal. Dining options include 8 food kiosks and 2 bars.

The a fast favorite of locals and tourists has to be The Shorely. A former barge converted into an on water 2 story bar with a DJ at night and on weekends.

Coconuts / G& B’s Oyster Bar

Highlights: Overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, and only feet from the beach, Coconuts is one of the city’s most iconic spots. Be sure to order the variety of oysters they always have on hand and famous “scoobie snacks”.

Ocean Prime

Highlights: Perched above the newly rebuilt Las Olas Marina where downtown meets the beach. This upscale chain is known for its sophisticated decor, long wine list,  classic steak & seafood menu.

Tip: For dock and dine, slips must be reserved in advance with the Las Olas Marina. Per the Restaurant: Vessels under 75 feet can use the code “OceanPrimeFTL” for special rates when they dock and dine at Ocean Prime!

Grill at the Grove

Highlights: Located inside Hugh Taylor Birch State Park surrounded by the mature trees and overlooking the beach, this is nature lover’s spot is the definition of old florida. Live music on the weekend, draft beers, casual atmosphere. Be prepared for a trek from the boat dock

SUMMER 2025 NOTICE: 30’ boat restriction and the dock is currently being renovated  and docking is not permitted while under construction. Expected to be completed sometime in 2026.

Highlights: Dockside dining is just one attraction at this eatery perched on the Intracoastal. Known as a staple in the Fort Lauderdale scene for it’s laid back yet sophisticated feel. A go to spot for Happy hour with multiple bars, fire pits, and a view of the sunset over the water throughout.

Highlights: Blue Moon Fish Company is an award-winning restaurant located on the Intracoastal Waterway. Count on having a reservation, especially in the winter time because this one is a popular. Sea food tower is a must have!

Pompano Beach Waterfront Restaurants

Brewfish Bar & Grill

Highlights: As much of a hole in the wall as it gets. Laid-back, beach-themed hangout with seafood, sandwiches, local craft beers & a waterfront deck. This is a great spot for the days you want to explore the most local waterways and imagine living in Lauderdale if you aren’t already!

Tip: The restaurant is past 2 fixed bridges with a clearance of 8’ at mean low tide. City has scheduled work to raise the bridge by about 4’ in 2026!

Miraggio

Highlights: Classic Italian at one of Pompano’s newest waterfront additions. The waterfront spot for wood fire pizzas, mussels, and pastas. Prime views of the drawbridge and boat traffic, offering especially good views of the renowned Boat Parade each winter.

Highlights: Located at the Sands Harbor Resort, this casual spot offers Florida and American classics, and live music poolside, with beautiful sunset views over the ocean. Dolphin bites and frozen drinks are a must try. Oversized dock make this one of the easiest places to dock and dine. Great spot to mingle with anglers.

Highlights: The newest addition to our waterways, set to open in summer – fall 2025. Mediterranean menu and dining on the deck. Rumor has it the appetizers will be the biggest hit.

Cap’s Place

Highlights: Recognized as a national landmark Cap’s is Broward County, Florida’s oldest restaurant. Previously a 1920’s casino and rum-running speakeasy, but now an old school restaurant. Caps sits on an island off of the Lighthouse Point Marina that can only be reached by boat or Cap’s motor launch. True Old Florida atmosphere and menu.

Highlights: Located right in the Lighthouse Point Marina– and known as the go to neighborhood spot. Fresh fish, great cocktails, brunch every single day, and there’s usually a deal for something going on each day. The menu offers something for everybody and even features a menu curated for dogs!

Highlights: Situated on the Intracoastal Waterway, this restaurant offers a consistent lively atmosphere and is a local favorite. You can’t go wrong when you sit on the shady oversized covered deck with a lobster roll or key lime pie!

Tip: The Cove Marina also offers fuel and ice for those looking to feed their tanks.
